THE GENIUS BOX: A DECLARATION OF EQUALITY

All human beings may be born more or less the same, but to claim that we are born equal is an outright lie designed to maintain the status quo of any given system of privilege and power.

Only when a statement about equality as a birthright is accompanied by a second statement defining in which way we are born equal beyond any doubt and the society into which we are born is build and governed to promote this equality as its primary purpose it can be said with justification that all human beings are born equal.

“All human beings are born geniuses” is this second statement. Our genius as expressed in our common ability to transform a fluid universe into something solid which can be communicated and coordinated is what makes us equal.

For equality in the form of genius to manifest and become real, we must now create a society which has as its primary purpose to promote our genius as human beings.

The genius box is a as such a declaration of equality.

The university for the post atomic human being is based on a simple idea. It is the idea that we as human beings in our most reduced form are colliders in which fluidity and solidity unify in the paradoxical experience of change as something stable and tangible and that this, the ability to experience change as something stable and tangible, is motivated by everything’s inherent need to experience itself without contradicting itself as stasis (if everything is present change is not possible – a totality must by logical definition be static). We know this, because we experience something and because something cannot be separated from everything as a complete totality.

Picture: A fluidity solidity collider is that, which experiences fluidity (change) and solidity (stable tangibility) as one to confirm without contradiction the being of a static totality (everything).

To enroll in the university for the post atomic human being you must acknowledge that it is a true statement that a human being in its most reduced form is that, in which fluidity and solidity collides and unifies for the totality to be confirmed without contradiction.

To acknowledge this as a true statement, you must ask and try to answer continuously the question: how come it is possible for me and other human beings to experience change as something solid? Asking and trying to answer this question will eventually lead you to the conclusion, that the ability of human beings to experience change (something which is never itself and hence is not there) as something solid (something which is there and hence cannot change) can only be a result of a static totality confirming itself without contradiction.

If we acknowledge that a human being in its most reduced form is that, in which fluidity and solidity collides and unifies for the totality to be confirmed without contradiction and considers this a true statements it follows that all change experiences of human beings must be considered perspectives pointing toward human beings as fluctuating mixes of fluidity and solidity (fluidity solidity colliders) on a scale defined in its extremes respectively by absolute fluidity (nothing) and absolute solidity (everything).

Introducing a true statement is a radical intervention into general human cognition, which normally depends entirely on the assumption that all experiences represent truth. If one statement can be said to be true beyond doubt any other statement must incorporate the properties of the one true statement to claim objective legitimacy. As such, the introduction of one true statement renders any  other statement that does not incorporate the properties of the one true statement false.

In effect the idea of human beings as mixes of fluidity solidity defined by the quality of any given change experience understood as a perspective pointing towards such a mix therefore marginalizes mathematics (all experiences of the universe as solid corresponds to a mathematical statement and is as such true) as we know it since mathematics does not incorporate the change experience perspective in its fundamental design. For mathematics to maintain its integrity as abstraction corresponding with the objectively concrete, mathematics must claim that any number or formula equals itself rather than being in flux. Otherwise the correspondence can only be temporary which paradoxically contradicts the fundamental principal of correspondence and hence mathematics itself: correspondence must be eternally valid for the concept to be legit in the first place.

Based on the true statement that human beings are that in which fluidity and solidity collides and unifies, the university of the post atomic human being introduces a new scale of measurement defined in its extremes respectively by absolute fluidity (nothing) and absolute solidity (everything) that must be incorporated in any other statement for such a statement to be valid as true correspondence with eternal sustainability. As such, the university of the post atomic human being is a globally inclusive research facility in which all human beings as a fluidity solidity collider are equal as potential researchers of a new science in which fluidity and solidity are unified in one without contradiction rather than being two mutually excluding complementary aspects of reality rendering all measurement approximation (as in mathematics).

Summarized it can be concluded, that the claim of the university of the post atomic human being is that all human beings are equal in the sense that each of us as fluidity solidity colliders has inbuilt knowledge of the most fundamental workings of the universe and that this knowledge is accessible and can be instrumentalized by asking and trying to answer continuously the question: how come it is possible for me and other human beings to experience change as something solid?

ABOUT THE PHILOSOPHER

My name is Thomas Heide.

I was born in 1966.

I hold a BA in philosophy and a MA in educational philosophy from Aarhus University, Denmark.

Human beings are fluctuating states mixing solidity and fluidity positioned on a scale defined in its extremes by the event horizons of everything and nothing. To me the body as mind is also a personal computer using the universe as a processor. I have found, that this interpretation of the mind can be simulated in the form of handheld objects and larger installations designed to motivate the conscious use of the mind as a handheld, personal computer using the universe as a processor (see the blog-category: “Philosophical objects”). I consider electric guitars thinking machines and believe that most people would benefit cognitively from learning how to play amplified and distorted blues rock guitar solos.

I live in Aarhus in Denmark with my wife and my two kids.

When I was a child a part of my mind was split from my body, disabling my genius as a human being unifying the experience of fluidity and solidity in the experience of change confirming without contradiction the being of the passively static totality (everything).

I became the fluid mind detached from my body. This enabled me to experience the world from the outside. Experiencing the world from the outside is also experiencing the world without a positive reference to solidity. I did not know and I still doubt I know what it is that I am experiencing being detached from the world as solidity.

In order to create a system of communication to be applied in my body to maintain a lifeline to the concrete, to you, I have spend most my life as absence trying to construct a theoretical totality matching your world, the universe of matter, time, space, cause and effect, gravity, quantum dynamics, bodily sensations and emotions, etc.

My communicative interface is a metaphysical construct. The construct can be reduced to a single equation, the equation of change experience, which conceptualizes the above: that human beings are colliders in which fluidity (that, which does not equal itself) and solidity (that, which equals itself) are unified as the totality’s (everything’s) confirmation of itself as being in a way that does not contradict or influence the integrity of the logically solid and hence static nature of the totality.

The best philosophical objects are those that can be made, understood and used everywhere by everyone at low or no cost. Such objects are vehicles of a universal learning and change potentiality. The simple fluidity collider made by one piece of triangularly folded paper with a circular hole and a square hole next to each other one of its sides is an example of the incredible learning power that can embedded in the smallest of interventions.

THE PATH OF THE LOST GENIUS (3): THE MUSIC

One of the most important breakthroughs in my cognitive development occurred shortly after I began playing electric guitar and more specifically electric guitar solos at the age of 44 as a reaction to the intellectually and creatively numbing experience of being an adult bachelor student of philosophy at Aarhus University.

While teaching myself how to play, I discovered that Mr. Jimi Hendrix had invented the defining borders of a new independent universe of language with his guitar playing, hence proving it possible to gain access to positions of observation outside the positions available in the known universe and as such providing legitimacy to my experience of being outside of space-time in this sense.

The following are is a series of tunes written, performed and recorded by me in 2010 as a part of my attempt to find my philosophical center of gravity using an electric guitar as my vehicle.

As an appendix to the home studio recordings two tunes in which I experiment directly with expressing myself using electric guitar solos (2016) has been attached.

My main work “RUIN – A text book for the post atomic human being” is primarily in Danish. A number of previously unpublished texts in English are included though. For English texts in RUIN browse “Bog 4, del 1”, “Bog 4, del 2” and the final pages in “Bog 4, del 4”.  The book also contains a great deal of pictures and graphics that may be of benefit to non-native danish speakers.

RUIN includes all my publications prior to “The uncertifiable chaospilot’s university in a book”. Although everything in the book is of importance as a part of the groundwork for my philosophy of the ordinary, the key text is the three parts of “Bog 2” in which I take my metaphysical investigation to the extremes in order to uncover irreversibly the mystery of your ability to create sustainable correspondence between mind and universe.

THE PATH OF THE LOST GENIUS (5): THE SONGS IN DANISH

Just as we entered the 3rd millennium I made a series of simple, acoustic recordings of some of the danish songs I had written in the prior decade.

The recordings were initially meant as to be re-recorded and published as a collected work under the title “the burden of pretending innocence” but the project was never completed.

To some native danish speaking listener it will most likely be obvious how working with songwriting and especially lyrics and the relationship between lyrics, melody and rhythm became a part of my investigative philosophical toolbox.
